Artscape Theatre
Cape Town City Ballet (CTCB) present Robin van Wyk's, full-lenght childrens ballet, Robin Hood this December at Artscape.
This popular childrens fairytale is brought to life by 140 children from the greater Cape Town area as well as the Principle and junior dancers of the Cape Town City Ballet. Robin Hood premiered in Port Elizabeth this year at the PE Opera House, when the Cape Town City Ballet staged the production in asscociation with the Friendly City Youth Ballet.
CTCB's Andre Sauer, Johnny Bovang and Devan Josephs will dance to role of Robin Hood with Celeste George, Andrea Payne and Laura Bosenberg as Lady Marion. Prince John will be performed by Mervyn Williams and the Sheriff of Nottinham will be portrayed by Grant Swift. Russell Cummings returns to dance the cameo role of Friar Tuck.
