Sean Bovim, the creator of Cape Town City Ballet's hit rock ballet Queen at the Ballet and the master behind SwingTime and More returns to the Mother City this summer to produce the end-of year dance spectacle, Let me Entertain You.

This new work, a tribute to British pop super-star, Robbie Williams will be performed by the dynamic dancers of the Cape Town City Ballet and costumed by acclaimed fashion designers, Craig Port, Malcolm Kluk and Christiaan Gabriel du Toit.

"Cape Town City Ballet have the right attitude, youthfulness, and energy to change gears and meet the challenge of my work" says Bovim "their versatility never ceases to amaze me" he continues "they seam to be as comfortable in three act classics such as Cinderella as they are in the rock ballet Queen at the Ballet" Bovim says he's excited about using Robbie's music and intends to represent his pop idol's glamorous life through a fusion of ballet, contemporary, jazz, tap and MTV/pop styled choreography. Having worked closely with the company over the past two years, Bovim is keen to use various dynamics that exist among the dancers to reflect the complicated persona that is, Robbie Williams. There will be four Robbie personas, Robbie Rebel, Robbie Cool, Robbie Star and Robbie Icon all danced by the men of the company and partnered by their female counterparts. Andre Sauer will be Robbie Rebel with Laura Bosenberg as his Rock Chick and Devan Josephs teams up with Marianne Bauer and Megan Swart to potray Robbie Cool. Robbie Star will be danced by Robin van Wyk with Simone Muller as his Starlet and Daniel Rajna will dance Robbie Icon with Tracy Li as his Muse. Johnny Bovang and Lara Turk team up and dance The Love Birds and Lee Fennell and his ladies will interpret the Tap Shift.

Let me Entertain You has all the ingredients for a festive season show stopper and booking has already opened.
