Cape Town City Ballet presents Elizabeth Triegaardt's production of Les Sylphide and David Poole's Firebird at the Maynardville Open-air Theatre from 11 January - 15 February and at the Masque Theatre- Muizenberg from 21 - 24 January, 2004.
Les Sylphide, a one act romantic ballet tells no story, but is a ballet of mood, grace and style. This ballet was designed to evoke the flavour of the Romantic Age of ballet and is danced with style and faultless technique by the Cape Town City Ballet Artists.

David Poole's spectacular and colorful Firebird, set to Stravinsky's exciting score tells an abstract tale of love, magic and make believe. First produced in the 70's this production will be revived on the company by Elizabeth Triegaardt.
